Warranty & Service Warranty for your products.
Not for copies.
When a customer registers a product, the scan checks it first. Genuine products are registered in one step. Counterfeits fail the check before they ever reach your service desk - and no product can be claimed twice.

What warranty abuse costs you.
of revenue is what service and warranty abuse can cost a manufacturer - counterfeits claimed as originals, swapped returns and the same unit claimed twice. PwC / AGMA Global, Service & Warranty Abuse.
Counterfeits look genuine enough to be registered and claimed. You pay for repairs of products that were never yours.
✓A failed scan stops a counterfeit before it can be registered.
A counterfeit that breaks early looks like a quality problem with your brand, not with the copy.
✓The scan records which unit was genuine, and when.
Serial numbers turn up on several accounts and claims. Without a record per product, one unit can be claimed more than once.
✓Every serial number can be registered once.
Long registration forms mean many genuine customers never register - and you never hear from them.
✓Registration is one scan, not a form.
Easier for your customers. Clearer for your service team.

- 01 · Scan
The customer scans
Any smartphone camera reads the code on the product. No app, no login.
- 02 · Verify
The layer is checked
The security layer confirms the product is genuine - the answer comes from the code itself.
- 03 · Register
The warranty starts
The genuine product is registered with its serial number and linked product data.

Service knows the product
When service is needed, the serial identifies the exact article, batch and production date.
At step 02 the path splits - and that is the whole point.
The warranty starts.
The pattern matches the one that was printed. The product is registered to its own serial number, and service can see exactly which article, batch and production date it is.
Nothing to claim.
A reprint destroys the pattern, so the check fails and no warranty is ever created. The failed check is recorded with its location - so the attempt also tells you where counterfeits surface.
A new unit goes out. What comes back?
A customer gets a genuine replacement and sends back an older unit - or a fake. Scan it at intake and you see whether it is genuine, and whether the serial matches what was registered.

One warranty per product. Fewer false claims. Faster service.
One product, one warranty
Every warranty is tied to one serial and can be claimed only once. A second claim on the same product - from another account or with a copied code - does not go through.
Cut fraudulent claims
Warranty is only registered for products that pass verification, so counterfeits are filtered out before they cost you. The failed checks feed your brand protection.
Resolve cases faster
The serial tells your team which article, batch and production date they are dealing with - and when one batch is affected, which registered products belong to it.
Start a relationship
A registration is a direct touchpoint with the person who uses your product. It is where customer engagement begins.
About warranty and service.
How does warranty registration work?
The customer scans the code on the product with any smartphone. The security layer confirms that the product is genuine, and the product is registered with its serial number and product data - in one step, without an app.
What happens if someone tries to register a counterfeit?
The check fails. A reprinted code has lost its security pattern, so the product is not registered. The failed check is recorded with its location, which helps you see where counterfeits appear.
Can the warranty for one product be claimed more than once?
No. Each warranty is tied to the serial of one product and can be claimed only once. A repeated claim on the same product does not go through, and a copied code already fails verification.
Do customers need an app?
No. Customers use their phone's camera. Verification and registration happen in the same scan.
Which product data is linked to a registration?
The serial number on the code, and the product data linked to it: article, batch, production date and intended market.
Does it help when a batch has a problem?
Yes. Because every serial is linked to its batch and production date, you can see which registered products belong to an affected batch.
Can we run our warranty process in authentic.network?
Yes. The warranty process can be integrated directly into the authentic.network solution: registration, warranty status and return checks run in the same place as brand protection, tracing and analytics - without a separate warranty tool.
Can we check products that are returned to us?
Yes. Your team scans the returned unit at intake and sees whether it is genuine and whether its serial matches the registered product - which exposes return swaps before a replacement is credited.
